Welcome to WorksBuddy. Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using our platform. By accessing or using WorksBuddy, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.
About WorksBuddy
WorksBuddy ("we," "us," or "our") is a productivity and workplace management platform designed to help individuals and teams organize tasks, collaborate, and work more efficiently. These Terms govern your use of our website, web application, mobile application, and any related services (collectively, the "Service").
Eligibility
To use the Service, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction);
- Have the legal authority to enter into a binding agreement; and
- Not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable laws.
If you are using WorksBuddy on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
Account Registration
To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration;
- Keep your account credentials confidential and secure;
- Notify us immediately at support@worksbuddy.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account; and
- Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we believe pose a risk to the Service or other users.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use WorksBuddy only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms. You must not:
- Use the Service to transmit spam, malware, or any harmful content;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or another user's account;
- Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service without our express written permission;
- Use the Service to harass, defame, or harm any individual or group;
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity;
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service;
- Resell, sublicense, or otherwise commercialize the Service without our authorization; or
- Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action against any violations of these rules, including suspending or terminating your access.
Subscription Plans & Payments
WorksBuddy offers both free and paid subscription plans.
Free Plan
Free accounts are provided as-is, with limited features, and may be modified or discontinued at any time.
Paid Plans
Paid subscriptions are billed on a monthly or annual basis as selected during checkout. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods unless required by law.
Price Changes
We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice before any price change takes effect for existing subscribers.
Taxes
You are responsible for any applicable taxes, duties, or levies associated with your subscription.
Your Content
Ownership
You retain ownership of any data, files, text, or other content you upload or create within the Service ("Your Content"). By using WorksBuddy, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, and display Your Content solely to provide the Service to you.
Responsibility
You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of Your Content. We do not monitor user content but reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms.
Backups
While we take reasonable steps to protect your data, we are not a backup service. You are encouraged to maintain your own copies of important data.
Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in and to the Service — including its design, software, logos, trademarks, and content created by WorksBuddy — are and remain the exclusive property of WorksBuddy and its licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights to use our trademarks or branding without prior written consent.
Third-Party Integrations
The Service may integrate with or link to third-party tools, services, or websites. These third parties have their own terms and privacy policies, which we encourage you to review. We are not responsible for the practices, content, or availability of any third-party services.
Privacy
Your use of WorksBuddy is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in our Privacy Policy.
Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. To the fullest extent permitted by law, WorksBuddy disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, WorksBuddy and its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, or goodwill — arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim or (b) USD $100.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless WorksBuddy and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) Your Content; or (c) your violation of these Terms or any applicable law.
Termination
By You
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time through your account settings.
By Us
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our sole discretion, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or that your continued access poses a risk to the Service, other users, or third parties.
Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may delete Your Content after a reasonable period following termination. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 7, 10, 11, 12, and 15) will continue to apply.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through a prominent notice within the Service at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and WorksBuddy regarding the Service.
Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
Assignment: You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights freely.
Force Majeure: We are not liable for delays or failures in performance caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
