Notifications and Alerts
Get notified when Revo workflows fail or succeed, define custom alert conditions per workflow, and track every action in an audit log.
Revo sends notifications when a workflow fails through email and in app, with optional success notifications, custom alert conditions, and per workflow rules. A full audit log records every user action, workflow change, and system event.
How it works
When a workflow run ends in a failure state, the right people are notified immediately through email and in app, with the workflow name, run identifier, failing step, error message, and a direct link to the execution log. Beyond default failure alerts, each workflow can carry custom conditions built with the same visual interface as triggers. Notification rules are configured per workflow and compose with workspace wide baseline rules, so per workflow rules override workspace defaults where needed.
Key capabilities
- Instant failure notifications, enabled out of the box for every workflow.
- Optional success notifications for workflows where confirmation matters.
- Custom alert conditions for patterns such as long durations, failure rates over a threshold, recurring error categories, or specific field values.
- Per workflow configuration that tunes recipients, channels, and thresholds for each automation.
- Multiple delivery channels: email and in app by default, plus messaging integrations such as Slack and Microsoft Teams and custom destinations.
- A complete audit log capturing user actions, workflow changes with diffs, and system events, each with timestamp, identity, resource, and before and after state.
- An audit log that is searchable, filterable, and exportable as a document or structured data file.
Tips
Use workspace wide rules for baseline alerting that every workflow should have, and per workflow rules for the specific behavior each workflow needs on top of that baseline. Both layers compose cleanly.
Audit data is retained for the lifetime of the workspace by default, with configurable retention policies that export older data to long term storage before deletion.
Node Library
Seven node types that cover every workflow shape, each with a guided panel, live validation, field mapping, and a real data test.
REST API and Security
Trigger workflows programmatically through a REST API with scoped tokens, network allowlisting, webhook signatures, rate limits, and encryption at rest.
