User and Role Management
Define fine grained roles, apply per user overrides, structure teams and departments, and review a filterable audit log in Evox.
User and Role Management controls access through fine grained roles, per user overrides, team and department structure, a Super Admin role, and a filterable audit log.
How it works
You define roles with permissions set at the module and action level, then assign them to users. Users group into teams for daily collaboration, and teams roll up into departments for org structure, with permissions cascading from department to team to user. Per user overrides handle exceptions on top of a role and can be time bound. Every action on the platform is recorded in a tamper evident audit log that you can filter and export.
Key capabilities
- Fine grained roles with permissions defined per module (leads, campaigns, contacts, deals, reports, automations, settings, admin) and per action (view, create, edit, delete, export, share).
- Per user permission overrides that grant or deny a specific permission, optionally time bound and always logged.
- Team and department structure with cascading permission inheritance.
- Super Admin role that bypasses roles and overrides for incident response, with extra detail and a reason field logged for sensitive operations.
- Tamper evident audit log filterable by user, date range, and action type, covering logins, edits, permission changes, exports, and admin operations.
- Audit log export to PDF or Excel, including user, timestamp, action type, affected resource, IP address, and reason fields.
Tips
Audit log entries cannot be edited or deleted by any user, including Super Admin. Retention is configurable per workspace, with a default of twelve months for active logs.
