Analytics Dashboards

Role-based dashboards in Taro with 17 widget types, risk alerts, and cached sub-second loading.

Analytics Dashboards aggregate task, sprint, workload, and risk data across the workspace and present it through role-specific, customizable dashboards that load in under one second.

How it works

Taro continuously aggregates live workspace data and surfaces it in one of four dashboard role contexts: Super Admin, Org Admin, Personal, and Custom. Each role opens with a default widget set scoped to its responsibilities, and every dashboard remains fully customizable. Dashboard data is recalculated and cached on every workspace state change, so the view reads from a pre-computed cache rather than running aggregation queries when opened. Load time stays consistent regardless of workspace size. The cache is segmented per user for personal dashboards and per workspace for role dashboards.

Key capabilities

  • 17 widget types, including sprint burndown, velocity, workload distribution, risk alerts, task completion rate, productivity trends, leaderboard, overdue tasks, epic progress, bottleneck summary, upcoming deadlines, and team mood.
  • Four dashboard role contexts with sensible default widget layouts and data scopes.
  • Drag-and-drop layout: move, resize, add, and remove widgets, saved per user.
  • Shareable layouts that pass widget structure only, not personal data; exportable as templates.
  • Risk Alerts widget covering 8 alert types with severity (Critical, High, Monitor), the named task or person, and a recommended action.
  • Per-user productivity trends shown as a daily completion bar chart over a configurable rolling window (default 14 days).
  • All widgets draw from live data with no manual entry, CSV import, or external BI tool.

Widget instances are configurable by date range, data scope, grouping dimension, and visual format. Underlying analytics endpoints are also exposed via the API for external views.
