Task Detail Generation
Turn a brief task title into a structured description, subtasks, and checklist using GPT-4o mini, free and unlimited.
Task Detail Generation turns a brief task title or note into a structured description, a subtask breakdown, and a checklist, generated together and editable before saving.
How it works
You provide a brief, which can be a short fragment, a sentence, a user story, or a bug description. TARO sends it to GPT-4o mini and returns four outputs at once: a rich HTML description, a subtask breakdown, and a checklist, presented as a full task preview. Nothing is committed until you press save. Every field is editable inline, and you can regenerate any individual section without changing the others. This feature runs at no cost to your account because GPT-4o mini is included in the base product cost.
Key capabilities
- Free and unlimited generation with no credits consumed and no per-day, per-user, or per-workspace limit.
- Rich HTML description structured as background, objective, scope (including explicit out-of-scope items), and acceptance criteria.
- A breakdown of 3 to 6 subtasks scoped to real implementation phases, each editable and promotable to a full task.
- A checklist covering implementation work, edge cases, testing, and acceptance criteria.
- Full inline editing of every field before saving.
- Independent regeneration of any section, with optional added context to guide the new output.
Tips
Works from minimal input. A three-word fragment such as "fix login bug" produces a usable task, and more context yields more precise acceptance criteria and subtasks.
