How it works
TARO ingests your backlog (pasted tasks, CSV import, an existing TARO project, or the API), deduplicates it, and parses each task for title, description, labels, due dates, and dependency links. It then scores every task across three axes (due date urgency, dependency weight, and strategic impact) and combines them into a single composite priority rank. The result is a list ordered from highest to lowest priority, with the reasoning behind each position shown beneath the task. The ranking re-scores whenever the backlog state changes.

Tips
Pinned and overridden positions are respected when TARO re-ranks the rest of the backlog. When you override, TARO shows the score the task would have received so you can see what you are trading off.
