Auto Page Data Tags

Automatic structured data tagging across 30+ types, validated against Google's checker and re-checked daily.

Auto Page Data Tags reads each page, picks the right combination of structured data tags from more than thirty supported types, applies them automatically, validates each one against Google's official checker, and re-validates the full set every day.

How it works

Ranko reads a page, identifies what it actually is, and chooses the tag combination that signals that content correctly. A how-to guide might carry How To, Article, FAQ, and Breadcrumbs; a product page might carry Product, Brand, Review, and Breadcrumbs. The chosen tags are generated and applied automatically, with each field pulled from the page content. Before a page ships, every tag runs through Google's official validator; valid pages ship and pages with issues are flagged with the failed field and a recommended fix. The full set re-validates daily so tags that break after publish are caught the next morning.

Key capabilities

  • Support for 30+ tag types, including Article, FAQ, How To, Product, Brand, Author, Review, Event, Recipe, Video, Breadcrumbs, Organization, LocalBusiness, JobPosting, Course, Book, Movie, Software, Dataset, ItemList, and QAPage.
  • Automatic per-page combination selection based on actual content rather than URL patterns; most pages receive four or five tags.
  • Validation of every applied tag against Google's official structured data validator before going live.
  • Daily re-validation of every page's full tag set.
  • Broken tag detection that routes findings into the morning Site Inspector report.
  • One-click fix tickets with corrected, copy-paste-ready markup pushed to the team's project tracker.
  • Per-page overrides that re-run the validator before saving and persist through daily re-checks.

Tips

Pages not produced by Ranko follow the same flow. Existing pages are audited during the initial site crawl, and missing tag sets are queued for batch application that the team approves.
