Copy going out under a brand name should be reviewed by someone accountable. The Approval Workflow makes that a rule enforced by the platform rather than a process someone has to remember.
How it works
Every campaign moves through four stages: draft, review, approved, and live. A rep builds the campaign and submits it, and nothing can send from a draft. The reviewer either approves it or sends it back, and a rejection requires a comment, so the feedback stays attached to the campaign instead of getting lost in a chat thread. Once approved, the campaign unlocks and can go live, with the approver and timestamp recorded permanently. Approval is a permission tied to a role, so stakeholders can be given the reviewer role rather than admin and cannot launch anything by mistake. Reviewers can read and approve from a phone.
Key capabilities
- Four stage lifecycle with sending physically blocked before approval.
- Enforcement at the platform level, so the gate cannot be bypassed by any role.
- Mandatory comments on rejection, kept attached to the campaign.
- Approval as a role permission, separate from the ability to build campaigns.
- Client reviewers, commonly used by agencies for sign-off under a client brand.
- Append-only record of every submission, approval, rejection, and comment.
Tips
Give stakeholders the reviewer role rather than admin. It lets them approve copy without also giving them the ability to launch a campaign directly.
