A Dynamic List is built on conditions rather than a fixed set of contacts. When someone meets your conditions they join, and when they no longer do they leave. The list stays accurate without anyone rebuilding it.
How it works
You choose the filters that define membership, combining as many as you need: job title, industry, company size, whether a contact opened an email, whether they replied, whether they opted out, and any custom field on the contact record. Contacts then move in and out as soon as something changes. Attaching a Dynamic List to a campaign means anyone who newly qualifies enters the sequence automatically, and anyone who opts out is removed from every list and every active campaign the moment they do.
Key capabilities
- Membership defined by conditions instead of a fixed contact set.
- Immediate updates when a contact's details, engagement, or opt-out status change.
- Engagement based segments, such as opened twice but never replied.
- Automatic opt-out enforcement across every list and active campaign.
- Direct connection to a campaign so evergreen sequences keep filling themselves.
- Any custom field usable as a condition, including plan type, region, or deal stage.
Tips
Build a re-engagement list from contacts who opened more than once but never replied. It stays populated on its own, which makes it one of the few campaigns that genuinely runs unattended.
