A blocklist is a public database of domains and IP addresses known for spam, and providers check it before accepting a message. If you are listed, most of your email stops arriving. Evox watches the major lists continuously so a listing never goes unnoticed.
How it works
Your sending domain and the IP behind it are both checked against the major public blocklists around the clock rather than on a weekly schedule. A listing is reported within hours of appearing, which matters because nothing visibly breaks when it happens: emails still appear to send, and most teams only notice weeks later when replies have quietly stopped. When a listing is detected, affected mailboxes are throttled or pulled from rotation automatically, because continuing to send from a listed domain makes recovery considerably slower. Evox also identifies the campaign and mailbox that triggered the listing.
Key capabilities
- Continuous checks against the major blocklists providers actually use.
- Both sending domain and sending IP monitored, including shared IPs.
- Alerts within hours of a listing appearing.
- Automatic throttling or removal of affected mailboxes from the sending pool.
- Root cause identification showing the campaign and mailbox that caused it.
- Runs alongside authentication monitoring as part of the pre-send check.
Tips
A listing usually traces back to a bad list or a spam trap. Fix the source before you request delisting, or the same campaign will list you again next month.
