Email Verification

Layered address validation in Evox covering syntax, domain, MX, mailbox, catch-all, disposable, and role account checks before anything sends.

Every address is checked in layers before an email leaves. Syntax, domain, mailbox, catch-all status, and disposable detection all run automatically, so bounces never accumulate into a reputation problem that affects later campaigns.

How it works

Verification runs at every point an address enters the system: when a contact is saved from Lead Search, when a CSV is imported, when a contact is created through the API, and again as a pre-flight check before any campaign sends. Seven layers run in sequence, from syntax and format through domain existence, MX validation, disposable domain detection, role account detection, catch-all identification, and mailbox level confirmation where the receiving server allows it. Each address gets a confidence score rather than a pass or fail, so you decide how much risk to carry. Risky addresses can be excluded automatically, held for review, or routed to a lower volume mailbox pool.

Key capabilities

  • Seven validation layers per address, from syntax through mailbox level confirmation.
  • Confidence scoring instead of a binary result, so risk is yours to set.
  • Catch-all domains flagged as unconfirmable rather than silently marked valid.
  • Disposable domains and role accounts identified and separated before sending.
  • Verification at every entry point, plus a pre-flight re-check before each campaign.
  • Full verification log with address, checks run, status, score, and timestamp, searchable and exportable.

Tips

Re-verify older lists on a schedule. Addresses decay as people change jobs, so a list verified three months ago will contain entries that now bounce.
