Stalled Signer Alerts
Automatic alerts when a signer views but does not sign within 24 hours, with configurable reminder cadence and smart escalation.
Stalled Signer Alerts sends automatic notifications when a signer has viewed a document but not signed after 24 hours, with reminder frequency configurable per team and escalation for repeated stalls.
How it works
When a signer has opened a contract and still has not signed after 24 hours, Sigi detects the stall and fires a first alert to the team responsible for the contract. The alert names the specific signer, the contract, the time since last view, and a suggested next action. If the signer still has not signed, a reminder cadence runs on the team's configured schedule until the contract is signed or the alert track is manually closed. When a stall continues past multiple reminder cycles, smart escalation changes the alert tone, loops in additional team members, and raises the contract's priority in the dashboard.
Key capabilities
- Automatic alert when a signer views but does not sign for 24 hours.
- Configurable reminder frequency, set globally or per contract type.
- Smart escalation for repeated stalls, with changed tone, added recipients, and higher dashboard priority.
- Per-signer alert detail, including signer, contract, time since last view, and suggested action.
- Delivery to the team's existing chat tool, with email backup available.
- Per-contract routing so different deal types reach the responsible team.
- Per-contract or per-contract-type customization and overrides.
Signers who have not viewed a document at all are tracked separately as not yet opened.
Tips
Stalled Signer Alerts acts on stalls that Signing Behavior Analysis detects. Detection identifies the stalled signer; alerts push the notification with cadence and escalation.
